MAF vs Ariadna
Recover the Remotes, Kill 'em all.
Deployment taken by MAF, First Turn by Ariadna.
R1-T1: Ariadna pushed hard on the left side of the table, causing a Gaki to slowly dodge it's way forward. A Dogface super-jumps the building, allowing same Gaki to successfully engage. A close combat skirmish between the two starts and the Gaki lands a wound, causing the Dogface to wolf out and in preceding orders rip apart the Gaki (who explodes to no effect). A long trooper gets to the Remote in the center in preparation to push it home.
R1-T2: Morat pushes on the left with the remaining Gaki, who also manages to survive long enough to engage the Dog Warrior. The Oznat moves up behind the cover provided by the engaged pair to push the remote back to a building in the MAF deployment zone, hoping to keep it for a VP at the end of the game. On the other side of the field, the Rodok link makes a push forward, and a bit of poor judgement causes the HMG to be wiped out before it gets the chance to do anything. They keep pushing regardless, managing to fall back on the link leaders combi rifle to deal a lucky wound of vengeance to the Highlander Grey down field. The sniper Zerat falls back to a seemingly safer position on her roof, and most of the orders are spent on the Rodoks pushing the remote back into a safe spot in their home deployment. A final order is spent to re-position some troops using a Coordinated Order in preparation for the fury about to come down the left field.
R2-T1: Ariadna pushes on the left again, the Dog Warrior once again tearing apart the Gaki in front of it and causing it to explode - this time the explosion kills the nearby Marauder. A Maverick forces a move to the right side, drawing aggro from the roof-top Zerat and Yaogat, with the Zerat landing a blow and rending it unconscious. The tank hunter pops up to ambush the rooftop duo, managing in one shot split to obliterate both the Zerat and the Yaogat, allowing the axe-doctor to proceed over to the wounded and start causing casualties-i mean heal people. The highlander dies to some over-zealous medical practices, but the Maverick manages to pull through and get back into the fight. More forces proceed up-field on the left side, getting ready to take back some robots with the Devil Dog's pet Antipode leading the way - and falling in a massive wall of responding bullets. The dog warrior tries some sneaky pie-slicing to lay into one of the Yaogat with his twin chain rifles, but ends up being just out of range due to having to tweak template placement to avoid the nearby Devil Dog.
R2-T2: With time calling for the game to get wrapped up due to a late start, MAF decides to channel it's school spirit and be aggressive on it's final turn. A Yaogat decides to lob a grenade at the masses of werewolves around the corner, but fails to do any damage. Raktorak moves up and tries to deal with them using his fire-shotgun, landing a hit on both and dying from the swarm of chain rifle templates. A Yaogat with a shotgun tries his luck next, once again using the impact variant to land a hit on the Dog Warrior for the kill, but the Devil Dog shakes it off as the Yaogat dies from his own wounds received in counterattack. The Rodok team moves forward and lays down some fire on the right side as it's final member tries to get in a safer spot, but is opened up by the fury of the Tank hunter even as he downs another Ariadnan troop.
Final points: +1 per unconscious remote pushed home, +1 per 25% of enemy army destroyed (up to 75%).
Ariadna: +1 remote, +2 for 50%, for a total of 3 points.
MAF: +2 remotes, +1 for 25%, for a total of 3 points.
Match ends in a (very) bloody tie.
